The Week In Games: Return To Hyrule
Today, August 27, Nintendo treated fans to a double whammy of news during the joint Nintendo Direct and Indie World presentations.

Balatro: Friends of Jimbo
The poker-inspired roguelite Balatro is getting a crossover update called Friends of Jimbo. This update releases today and adds new cards themed after The Witcher 3, Vampire Survivors, Dave The Diver, and Among Us.
Neva
The next game from the developers of Gris, Neva, is a sidescrolling action platformer. It will release on October 15, 2024, and features gorgeous art design and fast-paced combat.
Moth Kubit
Moth Kubit is a cute bug-centric RPG where you uncover the secret of a mysterious insect megacorp. The game releases in Spring 2025.
Coffee Talk Tokyo
The third entry in the Coffee Talk series, Coffee Talk Tokyo, will take place in Japan. It is set to release sometime next year.
Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker
Sea of Stars is getting a free DLC called Throes of the Watchmaker. It releases in Spring 2025 and introduces a new party member and a whimsical setting.
PowerWash Simulator: Shrek Special Pack
PowerWash Simulator is getting a Shrek-themed crossover. The Shrek Special Pack releases this fall and includes five themed maps and a new character model.
Morsels
Morsels is a top-down shooting roguelike where you control a mouse fighting evil cats. The game features card-based mechanics and a nostalgic CRTV filter.
Date Everything
Date Everything is a dating simulator where you can romance 100 different characters that personify household objects and concepts. The game releases on October 24, 2024.
Peglin
Peglin combines the puzzle mechanics of Peggle with the roguelite genre. The game is available starting today as a timed console exclusive on Switch.
Wobbly Life
Wobbly Life, an open-world physics sandbox game, is coming to Switch this December. It features customizable characters, minigames, farming, and story quests.
Pico Park 2
Pico Park 2 is a multiplayer puzzle platformer with over sixty levels. The game is available today.
Indie World Montage
The Indie World showcase featured a montage of upcoming games, including Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX, Europa, and On Your Tail.
Pizza Tower
Pizza Tower, a zany platformer, is available on Nintendo Switch as of today.
