For months, this routine consumed us. We would rush home from school, drop our bags at the door, and race downstairs to boot up the PlayStation and try to make progress in Kingdom Hearts. Overcoming each level was a battle, but we persevered.

However, the Deep Jungle level in Tarzan’s world nearly led to our downfall. Everything about the Deep Jungle was a source of humor and misbehavior for us. The unskippable cutscenes, the final boss battle, and Tarzan’s dialogue had us in stitches. But amidst all the laughter, the game continued to challenge us.
