ZEvent 2024: Over 10 Million Euros Raised!
The ZEvent is an amazing event that reminds us of the unifying power of video games. This year, the charity marathon organized by Zerator brought together numerous streamers and content creators, raising over 10 million euros.
To be exact, 10,145,881 euros were collected. This impressive amount fell just short of the historic record of 10,882,126 euros set in 2022. But let's not dwell on a few thousand euros short. All the money went to five associations fighting against poverty: Tirelire d'Avenir, Cop1, Solidarité Paysans, le Bureau du Coeur, and Secours Populaire Français.
A Brief History
The ZEvent was created in 2016 by Adrien Nougaret (Zerator) and Alexandre Dachary (Dach). This unprecedented charity marathon in France has two parts: a concert to kick things off and three days of streaming on Twitch. Streamers and content creators gather throughout the weekend.
For over 50 hours, participants play, entertain, and stream live, encouraging viewers to support a common cause.
