Unexpected Outcome in Helldivers 2
In a shocking turn of events, players of the much-anticipated game, Helldivers 2, were unable to conquer the Automatons. Despite a challenging and extended campaign, which saw the loss and recovery of Malevelon Creek, also known as "Robot Vietnam", the Automatons remain undefeated.
In a recent initiative from Arrowhead Game Studios, codenamed Operation Swift Disassembly, players were tasked with eliminating the robot threat once and for all. Over the past weekend, the gaming community rallied for a final push against the Automatons. Against all odds, they managed to liberate each planet under attack. This victory was short-lived, however, as the bug-like Terminids soon emerged from another part of the galaxy, shifting the focus of the war.

Shortly thereafter, the robots breached the neighbouring Lacaille and Hydra sectors, where players are currently working to hold the defensive line.
