Patch 3.0 Brings Major Improvements
Released on September 26, Patch 3.0 introduces several changes to improve gameplay. The update includes private matchmaking, ultrawide support on PC, and significant tweaks to AI companions.
Enhanced AI Companions
The most notable change is how AI companions now behave. They will be more helpful during fights without taking away too much of your glory. This is a big win for solo players.
- AI bots will now help focus-fire on enemies like Zoanthropes.
- Restrictions on bots finishing off enemies have been eased.
- Bots will assist with Gargoyle objectives.
- Various bugs related to bots getting stuck have been fixed.

Better Gameplay Experience
These changes make the game more enjoyable, especially during the Gargoyle objectives. Previously, AI bots would hang back even when the health bar on one of the towers was almost depleted. Now, they actively join the fight, similar to playing with real humans.
The update also addresses other issues. Operations Mode has been balanced, with Chaos enemies being nerfed and Hive Tyrants becoming more challenging in the regular campaign.
