Pirate Yakuza Adventure in Hawaii Revealed
Hey gamers! We've got some exciting news from the world of Yakuza. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega have just announced a new game at the RGG Summit in September 2024.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
The next game in the Yakuza series is titled Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. It follows the story of Goro Majima, the joker of the series, as he fights pirates and searches for lost treasure.
Expect some epic naval battles, reminiscent of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. The game is set to launch on February 28, 2025.
What to Expect
A long trailer shows Majima washed up on Rich Island near Hawaii. An intriguing scene features a child with a pet tiger helping him out.
This story is a prequel, set six months before the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Majima has become a pirate captain, dealing with the fallout of Ichiban Kasuga's involvement in the Palekana cult on Nele Island.
Yakuza Fans Rejoice
Fans have been eagerly waiting for this reveal. Although Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth was released just last January, RGG Studio is known for its rapid releases.
