The mod repository Nexus Mods recently introduced three new transformations for these characters. Created by modder FudgeX02 in early March, each mod turns one of Final Fantasy 7 Remake's heroines into a muscle-packed powerhouse.

The character models are impressive, and FudgeX02 even gave them fitting and hilarious names: “Aerith Gainsbro,” “Beefa” Lockhart, and “Buffie” Kisaragi. It's so good it makes you wonder if Mako is actually just a green protein shake.

Behind the Muscle Makeover

According to FudgeX02, every aspect of these women has been amplified. "Everything's bulked up," he said. "No more Twig Tifa."

In conversation with Streamers Visuals on Nexus Mods, FudgeX02 revealed that while he first made Tifa buff two years ago, he's since created mods for Resident Evil 4 and Street Fighter 6 to sharpen his skills. The new Beefa, along with the other two muscle mommy mods for Aerith and Yuffie, only took him a few hours to put together.

His explanation for why he sent these leading ladies to the gym was simple. "I always felt Tifa was too thin to be a brawler," FudgeX02 said. "Of course, my version is too big, but the character really seems like she should be more like Cammy from Street Fighter instead of looking so frail. As for Aerith and Yuffie, that was just because I could."

When asked to elaborate, FudgeX02 simply said, "I like muscular women. To me, muscles are like a bonus modifier. Bigger is better in my eyes."
