Hollywood Takes Notice of The Sims

Who's Behind The Sims Movie?

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that The Sims is in the hands of Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap Entertainment. Kate Herron, known for her work on Loki and The Last of Us, is set to direct the project. Briony Redman, a British actress and writer, will co-write the screenplay with Herron. Vertigo Entertainment, the American film and television production company, will co-produce the project along with LuckyChap. Electronic Arts, the publisher of The Sims, will also be involved creatively, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

No casting announcements have been made yet, so it’s unclear if Robbie will star in the film. However, The Sims is a fitting project for LuckyChap.
