Gioeli is seeking a court ruling to clarify who owns the master recordings of "Live & Learn." He aims to secure compensation for all uses of the song beyond Sonic Adventure 2. The singer has been in discussions with lawyers, one from Sega and another who claims the song is a "joint work," entitling Gioeli to 50% of Sega's profits from the track.
