The official teaser trailer for the live-action Minecraft movie is out. It stars Jason Momoa and Jack Black.
Emma Myers, Oscar nominee Danielle Brooks, and Jennifer Coolidge also feature in the film.
Meet the Characters
Four misfits find themselves in a strange, cubic world:
- Garrett "The Garbage Man" Garrison (Momoa)
- Henry (Hansen)
- Natalie (Myers)
- Dawn (Brooks)
They must master this new world, fight evil creatures, and embark on a magical quest.
The Adventure
These characters are pulled through a portal into the Overworld. They meet Steve, an expert crafter played by Jack Black.
Together, they must protect the world from Piglins and Zombies while discovering their unique creative skills.
Behind the Scenes
Oscar nominee Jared Hess directed the movie. The production team includes Roy Lee, Jon Berg, Mary Parent, and Jason Momoa.
The movie will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and released in theaters and IMAX in North America on April 4, 2025.
