Renowned Voice Actor Troy Baker Won't Be Heard in Grand Theft Auto 6
Troy Baker, a well-known voice actor, has had his voice featured in numerous games. His roles include Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite, Delsin Rowe in Infamous Second Son, Talion in Shadow of Mordor, Joel in The Last of Us, and even the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. In a recent interview with film YouTuber The Movie Dweeb, Baker discussed his work on Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and many other games where he's lent his voice. Near the end of the interview, he was asked about rumors of him playing Jason, the male counterpart to GTA 6's Lucia. He acknowledged hearing the rumors, but categorically denied them, stating he's not that guy.
When asked about the character in the December 2023 GTA 6 trailer who says the word "trust", Baker responded with a laugh. He took the opportunity to highlight the hard work and dedication of other voice actors who work on these games, stating that they deserve all the credit for their work. He also expressed his appreciation for being associated with good work, even if he didn't contribute to it.
