Pokémon Scarlet And Violet's Latest DLC: The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero

In the recent trailer for the second half of Pokémon Scarlet And Violet’s The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC, launching on December 14, an exciting feature has been unveiled. Players can now directly control their partner Pokémon using a new invention known as The Synchro Machine.

Take Control of Your Pokémon

The Synchro Machine grants players the ability to sync up with their Pokémon. The device allows them to move around and engage in battles with wild Pokémon, providing a novel gaming experience.

Unlocking The Synchro Machine

This device isn't immediately available in the DLC. Players first encounter a character named Synclaire, who invites them to participate in an "amazing experiment" she's conducting. Once players assist her, they gain access to this innovative technology.

Experience Pokémon Battles in a Whole New Way

It's unclear whether this ability will be transferable to the main game. If so, it would offer players a fantastic opportunity to play the game from a unique perspective. The thought of navigating the game as a Snorlax or any other Pokémon is an enticing prospect for many players. However, it's expected that this new gameplay mode will present its own set of challenges, including possible limitations on the trainer's usual array of items.

What Else is New?

The latest trailer also revealed the addition of numerous Legendary Pokémon. It confirmed the much-anticipated capability to fully fly while riding Koraidon or Moraidon, as opposed to merely gliding. This feature becomes available after players complete the Elite Trial set by Amarys of the BB League Elite Four, hinting at a more substantial gameplay segment than previously seen in The Teal Mask.
