Death Stranding Film
Variety also inquired about the "Death Stranding" film, announced last year by A24 and Kojima Productions. Kojima confirmed he won't direct the film but will supervise the storyline. He mentioned ongoing discussions with renowned directors like Jordan Peele, Guillermo del Toro, Nicolas Winding Refn, and George Miller.
Several adaptation projects of "Death Stranding" are in the works. Kojima also has another story intended for a movie, though he won't direct it due to time constraints. This serves as a test for the third phase of his plan.
