According to reports, the plaintiff, Trevor Phillips, a former employee of West’s Yeezy fashion brand, claims his relationship with West had deteriorated by May 2023. Phillips alleges that West threw a tantrum and threatened to punch him over dissatisfaction with a garden at Donda Academy, a private school founded by West.

Verbal Abuse and Threats

Phillips states that West screamed at him publicly, stating he was fired. Despite attempts to plead his case, Phillips claims that West was dismissive and abusive, showing little regard for his personal circumstances or the wellbeing of his family.

Physical Threats and Odd Behaviour

The lawsuit further alleges that West threatened to punch Phillips and even attempted to destroy the garden that was the subject of their dispute. In a strange turn of events, West then mimicked Mario's celebratory dance from the Super Mario Brothers game while giving Phillips 'another chance'.
