25 PS5 Pro Upgrades You Need to Know About
The PS5 Pro is set to launch on November 7, bringing more powerful components and a new AI-upscaling method for better visuals. To fully utilize the new hardware, games will need updates. Sony has confirmed at least 25 games that will feature improved resolutions, frame rates, or other enhancements. Among these is the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which promises greater fidelity and smoother gameplay on the PS5 Pro.
Confirmed PS5 Pro Enhanced Games
Sony has revealed a list of games that will be enhanced for the PS5 Pro. Here's the full list:

Enhanced Features and Performance
Games that support PS5 Pro-exclusive features will have a PS5 Pro Enhanced label on the box or on the PlayStation Store. Sony has mentioned that around 40 to 50 games will receive patches by the time the console launches.
While most games will get improved visuals for 60fps modes, some like Horizon Forbidden West will run at 60fps in 4K. Others, like Gran Turismo, will feature modes with 8K resolutions and ray-tracing effects. System architect Mark Cerny expects games to support various options.
Backward Compatibility and Game Boost
Even PS4 and PS5 games that don't get updated for the PS5 Pro should see some benefits from its more powerful hardware. These include better overall stability and performance.
Other enhancements include PS5 Pro Game Boost, which can apply to more than 8,500 backward-compatible PS4 games. Enhanced Image Quality for PS4 games is also available to improve resolution on select titles.
Looking Forward
We'll likely see a bigger list of games getting PS5 Pro enhancements closer to the hardware's release. In the meantime, Cerny's tech presentation has shown several examples of how games will look better on the new hardware, at least if your eyes are good enough to spot the differences.
