This battle is not just about brute force but also about strategy and synergy. Many players have found themselves caught off guard by this boss, but with the right approach, you can put Zorba down for his dirt nap. Let's dive into the details and get you prepared for this epic showdown.

Understanding Zorba's Abilities

Zorba starts the battle with a move called Corpse Puppetry, raising a Corpsethrall from the ground. His next move is usually the same, bringing another Corpsethrall to the fight. If you defeat one, he'll just raise another. Once he has two corpses, he uses Madness Curse, enraging them to hit harder.

If both corpses are still up, Zorba will start attacking you directly with dark magic like Mudoon, lightning with Kandera, or the Bondage Curse, which causes paralysis.

Recommended Archetypes

• Warrior: Essential for dealing damage with Slash moves. Equip Fire magic if possible, as Zorba's corpses are weak to it.
• Healer: Provides crucial healing and can cast Hama Light magic, which is effective against the corpses.
• Knight: Use for defense and the Synthesis move with Warrior's Jump Thrust to lower Zorba's defense.

Defeating Zorba

Start the fight by dealing damage with your Warrior and Healer. Use your Knight's Jump Thrust when you have two turn icons left. This strategy will weaken Zorba significantly.

Focus on taking down the Corpsethralls quickly. Use Fire and Light magic to exploit their weaknesses. If you can eliminate a Corpsethrall in one go, you’ll have a smoother battle.

Keep your Healer ready to restore health, especially if Zorba manages to enrage his corpses. If you find yourself overwhelmed, use the Knight's Proclamation to draw enemy attacks.

The key is to keep Zorba busy raising corpses, preventing him from casting powerful spells. By maintaining this strategy, you should be able to defeat Zorba within a few rounds, liberating the Cathedral and moving forward in your adventure.
