Scout Striders

Scout Striders are formidable mechanical enemies that bear a striking resemblance to the AT-STs of Star Wars. They can be quite challenging, especially when they are in large numbers, and can easily overpower you if you're not well-equipped or informed.

Where to Find Scout Striders

You can find Scout Striders on the planets on the left side of the galaxy map, marked with a red color. They are usually spotted in enemy bases. Be sure to spot their distinct, AT-ST-like shape, and a pilot behind the front shield.

Eliminating Scout Striders

Scout Striders are surprisingly simple to take down once you know their weakness. They are essentially bipedal vehicles piloted by weak automatons. If you manage to take out the pilot, you can easily defeat the Strider.

Strategies Against Striders

Strategically, you should position yourself properly to take on Striders. It's not advisable to waste too much ammunition and resources on these enemies unless they are in large numbers or backed up by other forces.

Challenges with Scout Striders

If a Scout Strider notices you, it can be very challenging to take it down, especially at lower levels. The game's realistic aiming mechanics and the chaos during firefights make it very hard to aim at the pilot's head.

Target the Lower Half

If a Scout Strider is moving towards you, it's better to aim at its lower half than its more protected top part.

Fight Smart

Early weapons might struggle to penetrate their armor, but railguns and autocannons do a much better job.
