At the center of the promenade, before a grand statue, you'll find Albert, a beggar who shares his fantastical adventure stories for a small sum of gold. Give him 100 gold coins for his tales, then chat with the Beastren NPC Benton, who suspects that Albert is hiding something.
To ease Benton's suspicions, he requests you to tail Albert throughout his day, meaning you'll have to endure his incessant ramblings in the plaza. But fear not, Albert will soon head towards Walter’s Tavern, located just outside Vernworth’s eastern walls. Make sure you keep a close eye on him.
