Mortal Kombat 1 Introduces Nitara, Voiced by Megan Fox
Warner Bros. Games, the publisher of Mortal Kombat series, has disclosed a thrilling update: Nitara, the vampire warrior is making a comeback. Nitara, who made her debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance in 2002, will be returning in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 reboot. If her name doesn't ring a bell, thanks to the 21-year gaming history, Warner Bros. has a surprise: Nitara will now be voiced and modeled by Megan Fox, the renowned actor from Jennifer’s Body.

Megan Fox on Voicing Nitara
During her character reveal, Fox shared some interesting insights about Nitara. "She comes from this weird realm. She is a type of vampire creature, she’s evil, but she’s also good; she’s trying to save her people. I really like her. She’s a vampire, which obviously resonates for whatever reason," said Fox.

Megan Fox's Connection to the Vampire Realm
On Valentine’s Day in 2021, Machine Gun Kelly, Fox's boyfriend, revealed on Instagram a drop of Fox’s blood he wears in a necklace. Moreover, in a 2022 interview, Fox mentioned that she and MGK occasionally consume each other’s blood for ritual purposes. Given this, it seems like Fox is well-prepared for her role as Nitara.
Nitara's Unique Fatality Move
As fans of Mortal Kombat would know, Nitara isn't one for comfort. In Deadly Alliance, her Feast of Blood fatality had her savagely tearing out chunks of flesh from her enemies. But in the new Mortal Kombat 1, Nitara showcases a novel fatality move where she uses her long fingernails to gut her opponent, then uses their intestines to lift them into the air, and finally kicks them down, causing their body to disintegrate into a pile of bones.
The Release of Mortal Kombat 1
