Helldivers 2 has just received a major update this week with the release of patch 01.001.100. This update brings a complete overhaul of weapon balance, introduces a new galactic war feature, and many other changes to make the cooperative shooter on PC and PlayStation 5 more fun and accessible.
The update comes after a troubled period for the game and developer Arrowhead. Players were unhappy with the previous nerfs, claiming the game lost its fun factor.

Upcoming Content
The next Warbond Premium, called Chemical Agents, will launch tomorrow, September 19. It won’t include new weapons but will add two strategy variants:
- TX-41 Sterilizer: Sprays gas on Terminides and Automates
- Guard Dog's ‘Dog Breath’: A corrosive gas sprayer
There will also be a G-4 gas grenade that covers an area with harmful vapors.
