Doctor Strange Takes a Hit in Marvel Rivals' Latest Update
Marvel Rivals is barely a week old, and it's already shaking things up with its first major patch. While NetEase's update focuses primarily on bug fixes, it inadvertently nerfs Doctor Strange. Players discovered a glitch that allowed the Sorcerer Supreme to charge his ultimate ability instantly. This patch addresses that issue, among others, ensuring a smoother gaming experience.
Doctor Strange's Nerf
The patch tackles a significant bug related to Doctor Strange's ultimate charge. Players used a clever trick to charge his ability by placing a portal strategically. This glitch boosted his ultimate charge to nearly 100 percent when enemies fell through the portal.
As a temporary solution, NetEase has disabled the portals' terrain kill attribution. This means that these deaths won't count as Doctor Strange's kills, affecting his ultimate charge and scoreboard stats. The benefits will return once the bug is fully resolved.
