MAJOR ELDEN RING PATCH NOW LETS YOU SUMMON YOUR HORSE IN THE FINAL BOSS FIGHT

The highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring is just one day away from launch.

In preparation, a significant patch, Version 1.12, is now live on all platforms.

This update brings a plethora of balance adjustments, bug fixes, and new features.

One of the most notable additions is the ability to summon Torrent during the game's climactic final boss fight.

FromSoftware has also introduced five new hairstyles for character creation.

These can be selected during character creation, using the Clouded Mirror Stand, or via Rennala's Rebirth feature.

Active Summoning Pools will now carry over into New Game+.

Players can enable or disable specific Pools through a new Map Functions Menu.

Newly obtained items will be marked with an exclamation point, making inventory management easier.

A Recent Items tab has been added to review recently obtained items.

• Increased poise damage of some attacks against other players for specific weapon types.
• Decreased damage of dual-wield attacks against other players for all weapon types.
• Various other adjustments to poise and damage for specific weapons.

PvP-Exclusive Skill Adjustments

• Decreased damage for several skills including Spinning Slash and Flaming Strike.
• Decreased poise damage for skills like Lightning Storm and Spearcall Ritual.

General Balance Adjustments

• Adjusted turning speed for dual-wielded Heavy Thrusting Swords.
• Increased Dexterity scaling for certain weapon affinities.
• Increased stamina consumption when guarding against specific weapon types.
• Various other adjustments to attack speed, damage, and poise generation for different weapons.

Armament Adjustments

• Increased damage for several weapons including Troll Knight's Sword and Zamor Curved Sword.
• Decreased status buildup enhancement for Ripple Blade and Ripple Crescent Halberd.
• Increased attribute scaling for several staves and seals.

Skill Adjustments

• Increased poise amount for the Kick skill.
• Decreased poise generation speed for various skills including Storm Assault and Stormcaller.
• Increased speed for some attacks using Strong Shot and Sky Shot.
• Various other adjustments to damage, poise, and speed for different skills.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug that caused damage to the player and friendly summons when using the Last Rites skill.
• Fixed a bug that caused higher than expected poise damage with left-handed Thrusting Swords.
• Various other bug fixes to improve stability and gameplay experience.
