Open Beta Details
The open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds is set to kick off next week. PlayStation 5 players will have the first taste with an exclusive early access period starting on October 28th at 8 pm PT / 11 pm ET. This early access is available to members of the PlayStation Plus program.
Following the early access, the beta will open up to all players on October 31st. This includes those on Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam. Even if you're not a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can still join the hunt. The beta will run until November 4th, giving you plenty of time to experience what Monster Hunter Wilds has to offer.
What to Expect in the Beta
The open beta includes a complete character creator, allowing you to design your hunter. You can transfer your creations to the full game upon its release. Players will also get a sneak peek at the game's story and take part in a full hunt against the formidable Doshaguma.
As a bonus, participants in the beta will receive an exclusive in-game item, the plush Felyne teddy bear, when the full game launches on February 28, 2025.
