Julian Gerighty, the creative director, assures that the game won't be an Assassin's Creed Odyssey-sized adventure.

In an interview with VGC, Gerighty explained that the main campaign or "golden path" would take most players about 30 hours to complete.

Gerighty mentioned that this allows the team to focus on detail and manageability.

In Streamers Visuals' hands-on preview of Outlaws, Alyssa Mercante noted the amount of detail in the game.

She sometimes just wanted to stop playing and look around the incredibly dense Star Wars locales.

This decision to focus on quality over quantity seems to be paying off.

You can't swim in Outlaws, but you can play arcade games.

Gerighty is a big believer in creating an exciting, ambitious, but also achievable plan early on.

For example, the team initially wanted to add swimming to Outlaws.

However, it wasn't possible due to animation and scope limitations.

Instead, the team focused on other features they could explore.

Interestingly, all the mini-games in Outlaws were not planned initially but were added during development.
