BioWare has changed the title from Dragon Age: Dreadwolf to Dragon Age: The Veilguard to better represent its story.

This new name refers to your party as a whole, featuring characters from books, comics, and past games.

As we approach the October 31 release date, here's what we know about the party members of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Rook - The Leader

Rook is the new protagonist, recruited by Varric Tethras to stop the elven god Solas from destroying the world.

Players can customize Rook to be a human, elf, dwarf, or qunari and choose their faction.

Harding - The Scout

Scout Lace Harding, a dwarven rogue, returns from Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Neve - The Detective

Lucanis - The Mage Killer

Lucanis Dellamorte, a human rogue, works with the Antivan Crows.

Bellara - The Veil Jumper
