New DLC: Khaos Reigns
NetherRealm has just released a gameplay trailer for the new DLC character, Sektor. This is part of the Khaos Reigns expansion for Mortal Kombat 1.
The expansion includes:
- New story chapters
- Kombat Pack 2 with six new DLC characters
The new characters are:
- Cyrax
- Sektor
- Noob Saibot
- Guest fighters: Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan the Barbarian
Sektor's Gameplay
The trailer focuses on Sektor. It showcases his abilities and moves, including:
- Flamethrower
- Missiles
- Jet boosters for enhanced mobility and hovering
We also get a sneak peek at his story. In Liu Kang’s new era, Sektor has immersed herself in Lin Kuei culture. With a master armorer father and a respected warrior mother, she’s a top-tier fighter.
Epic Fatality
The highlight of the video is Sektor’s Fatality. She channels Iron Man vibes with a shot of her face in sci-fi armor. She takes her opponent into orbit and then crashes back down, burning up on re-entry. It's spectacular!
Animality
Sektor's Animality is equally impressive. She transforms into a rhinoceros for the final blow. This feature is part of a free update available to all Mortal Kombat 1 owners on September 24th.
