So, what exactly is this MultiVersus NHL event? On April 14 at 3:30 p.m. ET, the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights will face-off in a real-life hockey match. But there's a twist. Using the NHL’s innovative EDGE tracking technology, this game will also be broadcast on TruTV and Max (via B/R Sports) featuring digital avatars of popular WB characters and hockey players superimposed over the real-life hockey players.

Who's on the Roster?

According to a recent press release, this unique hockey showdown will star Bugs Bunny, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Velma, Shaggy, Steven Universe, and Finn the Human. Even the Tasmanian Devil will make an appearance, acting as the game's official. Digital avatars of NHL stars such as Nathan MacKinnon and Jack Eichel will also join the virtual ice.

The game will take place on a dynamic digital ice rink, featuring various locations from the MultiVersus game, including the court from Space Jam and the Adventure Time Tree Fort.
