During the recent State of Play presentation on January 31, Kojima himself joined Sony's Hermen Hulst to announce a new action-espionage project titled Physint.

A Glimpse into the Future
While no artwork or footage has been released as yet, Kojima revealed that this game will be a completely new, original IP, and development will commence after Kojima Productions releases Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The sequel is set to launch in 2025.
Kojima hints that while the game will be, in essence, a game, it will also have the elements of a movie in terms of its look, story, theme, cast, acting, fashion, and sound. But what does that mean? We will have to wait for more information as Kojima and Hulst leave a movie set.
A Collaborative Venture
It appears that Kojima is teaming up with Sony for this project, with shout-outs to PlayStation's music and film departments as part of the project. It remains unclear whether Physint will be a PlayStation exclusive.
Kojima concludes the announcement by stating that this next project will be "the culmination of [his] work". Check out the video below:
More Projects in the Pipeline
While Physint might still be a long way off, Kojima Productions is also working on a third game alongside it and Death Stranding 2. The team unveiled OD, an Xbox-exclusive game in collaboration with Get Out director Jordan Peele, at the 2023 Game Awards. So Kojima and his team are very busy at the moment.
