Bethesda reveals Starfield expansion focused on a single planet

Exciting news for all Starfield fans out there! Bethesda has just released a video showcasing the first glimpse of the upcoming expansion, Shattered Space.
Explore Va'ruun
In this expansion, players will get to explore Va'ruun, a new handcrafted planet. Bethesda describes it as an isolated world, carefully designed for the first major narrative expansion of Starfield.
Unlike the base game, which features over 1,000 procedurally generated planets, Shattered Space focuses entirely on Va'ruun.
Focused Storyline
The whole story of Shattered Space revolves around life on Va'ruun. Tim Lamb, the chief creative producer, mentions that once you arrive on Va'ruun, the story keeps you there.
Joe Mueller, the lead producer, adds that they wanted players to explore every corner of this place and uncover the secrets of its inhabitants.

Gameplay and Combat
Expect more intense combat scenarios, including ambushes by strange creatures emerging from space-time rifts. The expansion also places you in the middle of a political feud among the planet's factions.
Release Date and Platforms
Starfield, which had the biggest launch in Bethesda Game Studios' history, is available on PC and Xbox Series X and S. Shattered Space will be released on these platforms on September 30.
Owners of the Premium or Constellation editions of Starfield will get Shattered Space as part of their initial purchase. Those with the base edition can buy the Premium upgrade to access the expansion and other digital goodies.
