Captain America is one of the first heroes to join Marvel Rivals, and he’s bringing his iconic shield into battle. As a Vanguard, Cap takes on the Tank role but with a twist—he’s more agile and requires finesse compared to heavier hitters like Hulk. Captain America’s Abilities

Captain America’s primary attack is Sentinel Strike, where he swings his shield as a melee weapon. Hit twice, and he can throw his shield for ranged damage.

His other abilities include Leading Dash for increased movement speed and Fearless Leap, which boosts his jump height. While airborne, he can use Super-Soldier Slam to crash down and damage enemies in the area.

For offense, he has Vibranium Energy Saw, where he hurls his shield to deal damage, and Liberty Rush, a dash that slams his shield into enemies. Defensively, he can use Living Legend to block and deflect projectiles.

His ultimate, Freedom Charge, boosts health and movement speed for himself and nearby allies, making it a game-changer in team fights.

How to Play as Captain America

Unlike other Vanguards, Captain America has less health, so you’ll need to play smart. Use Leading Dash and Fearless Leap to sprint ahead of your team and disrupt the enemy frontline.
